You will receive notification of your financial aid offer through your student email account. The email will direct you to WarriorWeb. From there, you can view as well as accept your awards. The types of aid offered to you are based on your and your family's financial resources, as well as the availability of funds.

Excused Absences

As outlined in Texas A&M University Student Rule 7, the university views class attendance as an individual student responsibility. Students are expected to attend class and to complete all assignments.

Does A&M give a lot of financial aid? ›

Texas A&M offers over $986 million in financial assistance each year, which means many students' out-of-pocket costs are much lower than the published cost of attendance.

When you log in to StudentAid.gov, you'll be taken to your Dashboard. Your Dashboard tracks info about your federal student aid, including how much you've borrowed and what kinds of aid you've received. If you select “View Details” under the “My Aid” section, you'll go to your “My Aid” page.

Fall/Spring - January 15. Spring - November 1. Summer - May 1.

To be eligible for federal student aid and college financial aid, a student must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). This generally consists of maintaining at least a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (i.e., at least a C average) and passing enough classes with progress toward a degree.

You can check the status of your FAFSA form by logging in to your StudentAid.gov account and selecting your FAFSA submission from the My Activity section of your account Dashboard.

Federal student aid (such as federal loans) is offered on a yearly basis, so you'll receive a new aid offer each year. Meanwhile, schools may offer aid (such as scholarships) for one year or for multiple years.

The Registrar's Office supports the overall educational goals of the university and acts as a "behind the scenes" facilitator for faculty, students, and staff. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
