Sunday night's prime-time showdown in the Big Easy is a major opportunity for Teddy Bridgewater and the Saints to post a momentum-changing win against one of the NFL's top teams in the early going. The Cowboys rank fourth in the league in scoring defense over their first three contests and on the other side of the football, quarterback Dak Prescott has shown expansive development as one of the league's premiere passers.
The Cowboys' bevy of talented wideouts vs. the Saints' secondary will be a matchup to watch, one that could ultimately dictates who wins inside the Superdome. Amari Cooper has enjoyed the evening spotlight in his career and often comes up big in these spots. He'll likely be handled by Saints corner Marshon Lattimore.
Another storyline worth keeping an eye on is the league's seven winless teams and how many of those franchises put a mark in the win column this week. The New York Jets have an open week, but six others will try and crack their goose egg.

The skinny: Could Kyle Allen win his second straight start for the Panthers in place of injured quarterback Cam Newton? Oddsmakers like his chances to play fairly well considering the line here in Houston. Allen was terrific in last week's game against the Arizona Cardinals and gave Carolina fans a glimmer of hope moving forward after a disappointing start to the season. This is a game the Texans really need.

This figures to be a close one, and I'm not giving up on the Titans just yet. Taking them +4 seems like a good move.'"

The skinny: A cross-country trip coupled with Tampa's penchant for being up-and-down from a betting standpoint makes this one feels like a Rams cover, doesn't? "Few teams are on a roller-coaster ride like the Bucs, and that does not bode well for a trip to L.A. Regardless of which Todd Bowles defense shows up on the West Coast, Sean McVay should have a field day with all his talent," CBS analyst Cody Benjamin says.
Patriots at Bills

The skinny: Sean Wagner-McGough says the under (43) might be the play here. "The Bills haven't been nearly as great as the Patriots defensively, but they've still been good. They've allowed 47 points this season, but eight of those have been the offense's fault. So, really, their defense has allowed 39 points or 13 points per game. They're sixth in DVOA, one spot behind the vaunted Bears defense. In a matchup between the league's best defense and one of the league's best defenses, I'll take the under."

The skinny: Inconsistencies within Chicago's offense right now are keeping the CBS experts skeptical on the Bears' chances at home against NFC foe Minnesota. At the moment, the Vikings appear to be the more complete team, but anything can happen when Khalil Mack is on the other side of the football wreaking havoc at the line of scrimmage. Proceed with caution ahead of arguably Week 4's toughest game to predict.
