"Build baby Build" - I remain to be convinced that Scotland and indeed the wider UK can successfully compete against lower cost Eastern European and Far East ship builders. Especially in the build of standard RORO vessels. A better national strategy would focus on niche high tech, zero emission vessels for the offshore sectors plus developing and licencing vessel tech to other countries who so the build work.
