What is a servo base?

The Rotary Servo Base Unit is the fundamental element of the Quanser Rotary Control family . It is ideally suited to introduce basic control concepts and theories on an easy-to-use and intuitive platform.

How much torque does the Thrustmaster TX have?

The most important difference is that the TX has about 4 nM torque while the TS has about 6 nM. For comparison, Logitech wheels and the Thrustmaster T150 have about 2 nM. From my experience, the torque is absolutely critical and more is generally better. Driving the two wheels back-to-back is enlightening.

What is the yellow button on the Thrustmaster TX?

On the front left side of the wheel's base you'll find a mode button and a red LED. The front right side of the wheel base has a yellow button that can be used in conjunction with Mode to change wheel angle and other settings .

What does mode button do on Thrustmaster?

MODE button for the pedal set The TMX Force Feedback is also compatible with Thrustmaster pedal sets featuring 3 pedals (sold separately); these allow you to electronically swap the accelerator and clutch pedals . To do so, simply press the MODE button (8) for 2 seconds.

What is a servo problem?

Servo Motor Chatter This problem can be either intermittent or constant but is characterized by the motor standing still and making a chattering or buzzing noise . The motors output shaft will typically be at a standstill but possibly oscillate slightly. This chattering is usually cause by a positioning error.

How do you calibrate a Thrustmaster TX motor?

Connect your Thrustmaster steering wheel directly to the USB port of your PC or laptop. It'll now start its own calibration phase. Once the calibration process is done, turn the racing wheel all the way to the right until it stops. Now return the steering wheel back to the exact center and keep it in that position.

Can you change the wheel on the Thrustmaster TX?

SIMPLE WHEEL CHANGING SYSTEM Simply rotate the locking system on the base of the TX to remove the current wheel, in order to attach a new wheel to the base . The quick release system for the wheel only requires the use of a Phillips screwdriver, for excellent long-term gaming stability.

Why is my PC not detecting my Thrustmaster wheel?

A- Sometimes all you need to do is unplug your Thrustmaster accessory from its USB port and then plug it back in again (with your PC switched on).
