It's that time of year again. Snow is on the ground in many places, it's cold as CONgress, and seasonal cheer & grumpiness abounds.

 

Whether you celebrate Hannukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa - whatever, it's that special time of year when you can just smile and say:

 

We're breaking the ice tonight and heating things up with some killer new tunes, including stuff from a brand new band, "The Damned Things" featuring Scott Ian of Anthrax as well as members of "Everytime I Die" and "Fall Out Boy" (yes, THAT band.) Some mystery live "Anthrax", new Killing Joke, Jon Lajoie, The Doors (in honor of Jim's pardon), King Crimson, some indie stuff from Fragile Porcelain Mice, Loudermilk, and lots of inspirational tunes for the holiday season. You don't want to miss this show, as it will warm the heart, and if you drink enough, warp the mind.

 

SONG OF THE WEEK SHOWDOWN!!!! 

This weeks winner of the Myspace Alternative Music Forum's Song of The Week contest is... "OSKA2" with the "It's Up To You" going up against two week champions "Black Days" with their song, "So Real, So Wrong" 
Both songs will be played back to back. Once both songs are finished, send in your vote for your favorite of the two songs. The winnner tonight will go on to compete with the Song of The Week next Sunday. 

You can CAST YOUR VOTE by sending an IM to AIM or iChat @: wildbunchstudio, or messaging me directly here on myspace. Remember, the songs are played at the top of the 3rd hour, and you can vote until the top of the 4th hour (Midnight EST) when the votes will be tallied and the winner announced. The winner will be posted in the Alt Music Forum on Myspace after the show.
